WOW!!!!!!!!!! This is a vintage Haida native made ceremonial drum....... It is all hand painted, And measures 2" tall and 7" across.The details are incredible!!!!!! My mother worked for the Alaskan Federation of Natives for twenty five years, She often travelled to many remote villages for conferences and celebrations. She aquired this while in Old Masset. On the Queen Charlotte Islands in 1972. The Elder Tom Koosuakk gave this to her while attending a celebration, I will include a photo copy of the picture of Tom.This comes from my mothers huge Haida indian collection......This is definately a museum quality piece, i have not put a reserve hoping only knowledgable and serious bidders will prevail............
