How many days until Halloween? Well, about 201 days to be exact, that doesn't seem too horribly long now does it! This vibrant eye catching piece is a perpetual calender, the blocks are manually moved to display the month and date. The great thing about a perpetual calender is that it lasts forever! No need for a new calender next year. This piece has been completely free hand painted by artist Cali, and was inspired by a vintage Halloween Tally card. The pretty Art Deco witch sits upon a golden moon with her black cat against the star studded sky. All components of the calender are made of wood. The blocks feature Deco style lettering and numbers, the names of the months are in four different shades; turqoise, lime green, orange, and antique white. Several different colors were used on this piece to incorporate the feel of every season, making this a fun witchy piece to keep up all year. The calender measures 10" tall, 4.5" wide, and 2.75" deep. All surfaces have been well sealed with acrylic varnish to withstand the test of time. This calender can sit flat, or can be hung on the wall. A saw tooth picture hanger is attached to the back for easy hanging. Cali has signed and dated the bottom 2007. Another fun way to use a perpetual calender...during October it can also be used to count down the days to Halloween! Thanks for looking, and please feel free to ask questions.
