is something you rarely see, a original store display featuring Halloween candles, the box measures 9 inches wide 9 inches long and 2 1/3 inches deep. It's cardboard with orange letters, Gurly Novelty Company HALLOWEEN NOVELTY CANDLES 12 count, also states "SWELL FOR PARTY FAVORS" AT THE LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE TOP OF THE BOX IT READS "MR.STOREKEEPER-FOR BIGGER PROFITS,DISPLAY WITH TRICK OR TREAT CANDIES OR OTHER HALLOWEEN'EN ITEMS" IT ALSO SHOWS SOME OF THE CANDLES. These 12 candles are the ones that were with it when it was given to me. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. I will get back to you asap. I figure this display dates to the 1960's as we had some of these candles as our decorations growing up. T is a small tear in a couple places , one on the front, as pictured and at each corner w the top comes down...normal wear for a box that's of this age, it doesent take away from the uniqueness of this item. T are 4 pumpkin men, two little girl witches, 3 ghosts, two pumpkins and one owl, The lid to the box has a bow in it, that would be my fault, I had it propped open in my display cabinet for the last 10 years or so.
