Vintage Hand Embroidered Crochet Pillowcases -Dainty! Up for auction is a very pretty pair of vintage hand embroidered and hand crocheted pillowcases. They are embroidered with an open rose done in varied colors of pinks. The rose is accentuated with a shade of darker pink along all the outside petal edges. The stems & leaves are done in colors of green and t are tiny little light blue straw flowers with yellow French knot centers, sprinkled across the front. Below the pink rose and rose buds are three pretty daffodils. The varied pink hand crocheted edging measures a little over an inch wide! I think what draws your eye to these pillowcases is the fantastic neat and tiny stitching; as well as the gorgeous 1" crochet work! I took close ups of the stitching and the crocheted edging, but I don't think it shows up as pretty as the real thing. The pillowcases measure appr oximately 20" x 30". I did not find any major spots, stains, or tears on these and I think they are in very nice condition for their age. They do look as if they have very faint yellowing on a couple of the folds, but that should come out in future washings or hanging out on the line in sunlight. I don't think that you will be disappointed in these! This is some very nice workmanship! PayPal is prefered, but please contact me if you need to use an alternate payment method.
