is a vintage Circa 1960's, glass decanter/carafe. This is made of clear glass, with an amber colored overlay. The exterior has ornate hand carved floral and criss-crossed patterns deeply etched into the glass, contrasting the clear with the amber overlay. The patterns are very layered and detailed, and the photos don't quit show what you see in person. The glass looks very stunning when held to a light. The bottom has an eight point star design carved into it. This measures 16 1/2" tall with the top's stopper in, 2 3/8" across the top of the neck, 4 1/2" in diameter around the widest point, and the base is 4" in diameter. This is a very heavy piece of glass. The decanter is in near mint condition, showing no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. The bottom of the top's stopper has the numbers "777" etched into it. This came from a millionaire's estate, and most of the glass pieces were marked for insurance purposes. The inside needs a minor cleaning of water spots, but does not have any heavy deposits. This is shipped with postal insurance included. I ship precious glass and pottery Priority Mail only, which insures faster, safer delivery, and shipping conformation for the buyer. Please look at all the pictures and description carefully, and contact me with any questions you may have, before bidding.
