For auction, this gorgeous vintage rug. The rug is made of wool. It was hand hooked. The rug measures 30 1/2" wide x 48 1/2" long. I don't have a date of creation or any maker's mark to tell you. The rug has loads of character! The colors are mainly soft blue/green, lavender and rose. T are bits of antique white and tan as well~cottage colors. The hooking is totally secure. It has no loose loops or holes. The rug was hooked on cotton, Monk's cloth. The maker turned the Monk's cloth toward the back to finish the underside of the rug. It is in very good condition. It is very clean! The rug is nice and heavy, weighing in at 4 pounds. This rug will be a favorite~you can display this any time of the year. It would be especially lovely used in a front porch, down a hallway or in front of an antique bed. *Bid with confidence, check my feedback. THANK YOU!
