Up for auction is this Vintage Hand-Made Glass Kaleidoscope that uses Large 1" to 1 1/4" Marbles to create the View. The marble is held in place by 3 metal prongs that are easily opened in order to change the marble and thus change the view. The views are spectacular, to say the least, and are viewed by looking through the pyramid shaped view finder and rotating the marble to create the kaleidoscope of changing scenery. The marble that comes with the kaleidoscope is a 1 5/32" Cats Eye. The kaleidoscope is made with 1/4" glass rods in 8 1/2" lengths and using solder to form the cylindrical shape that is 1 1/2" in diameter. The overall length, including the marble, is 9 1/2". The entire ensemble is in Mint condition with no damage or repairs. A true work of art by a master craftsman and a credit to any marble or marble related collection. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
