I am offering for your consideration a Beautiful Vintage Nash Co. Hand Painted Floral Silent Butler. This Lovely Piece came from an estate and I was told it was very old and that it was Toleware. (I do not know this for sure). It is designed in a Blue and is decorated with Hand Painted Flowers and Leaves. There is a Gold Tone Trim around the edge. There is a Wood Handle. There is a Tag on the bottom that says: Hand-Painted, Chip and Alcohol Resistant, Nash Co. N.T.M. N.Y. ( I can't read all of the writing) The Silent Butler measures approx. 10 1/2" long, approx. 8" wide and approx. 1 1/2" deep. The Top of the Silent Butler is in real good condition showing little wear. The Handle is a bit loose w/ the lid but it still works perfectly. I'm sure it can be tightened. The Metal does show wear with rust ......as you can see in my photo's.....it is primarily on the edges and bottom. The inside does have some pit marks. It also need a gentle cleaning! A Fabulous Old Silent Butler to add to your collection needing some tender loving care! Payment is due 3 days from the close of the auction....or immediately if a Buy Now.
