This is a wonderful, vintage quilt, all hand pieced and quilted in the "Nine Patch" pattern. It measures approximately 62" x 85". This quilt is from the late 1800s by dating the fabrics used, these are definitely Civil War prints. A beautiful quilt, very nicely done. The quilting is great, stitched in diagonals spaced approximately every inch apart. The Nine Patch Blocks are on point, and the spacer blocks are a light cream with pale blue paisley prints (hard to see in the photo). This has been gently used, but condition is very good for age. T are a few faint stains present, and I've included a photo of the darkest stain which is on the back and measures approximately 7" in diameter. T are also a few worn spots on one edge which I have also pictured for your viewing. These are not worn spots all the way through the quilt, just through the top fabric. I have not tried to clean or launder this item myself, I am not qualified nor knowledgeable enough about fabric restoration to attempt this with a clear conscience. The stains may come right out, I do not know. I apologize for the photos, they truly DO NOT do this quilt justice! No funny smells, all looks great! It just needs a loving home! :) Please email with any questions. Happy eBaying!
