The quilt is thin but the batting is 100% cotton, the old fashion "clumpy" type. It measures approximately 78" by 69" across, covering well but with little hanging on the sides, the queen size label used for the photos, which measures 80" by 60". We believe it would fit better a bed size full, but please you be the judge of that.The close-ups of the fabrics used by the makers is just a small number of the total of different feed sacks in this quilt.The damages photographed at close range as examples are those visible on pics # 9 and 10 above.The backing is seen first from a distance, then at close-up range, so you can appreciate the interesting printed fabric used: it has a pattern of small triangles with colorful "feed sack" fabrics (the fabric is an imitation of many different old feed sack prints, we believe).
