This is a very nice framed and matted vintage hand-tinted photograph of a mountain stream and waterfall. It is unsigned, but has the Wallace Nutting style to it. It could possible be one of his later works, because a lot of them were unsigned. We took the backing off to verify that it was a photo and not a print , and to see if it was signed.We could find no signature, but it is definitely a hand-tinted photograph.Under a magnifying glass Fingerprints can be seen in the tinting. The older frame is very nice, but has some light wear at the edges. The photo is under glass. Glare from the camera flash is noticeable on the shots of the photo under glass. The photo itself has two light creases on the top edge which is barely noticeable. The actual photo is 13" x 10 1/2". With the frame and matting it is 17" x 19". This photo is one of a pair-the other photo is on another auction.
