I'm guessing, as I don't know blankets very well. I've had this about 16 years It is 54" x 38" I've been told that it is a Navaho Yei wedding blanket, but I don't know if that is correct or not. I believe the character framing the rug represents the Earth and the corn is a symbol of fertility, correct? Rug experts - fill me in with correct info if you know it. I'd be interested. Definitely needs a good cleaning. Thanks for looking. By the way, I am in no way an expert on Native American artifacts. I want to stay within the law and not pass this off as Native American if it isn't. I believe it is. The auction winner can receive a full refund if determined that it is not authentic or are otherwise unhappy with the purchase.
