Click above to enlarge. This plane is marked "Coumbus*" and "3" on the nose, presumably part of the Ohio Tool mark "Ohio Tool Co. Columbus*". It has an Auburn Tool Co. iron and chipbreaker in the plane, which looks original to the plane. Ohio Tool merged with Auburn Tool Co. in 1893. The steel sole has some tarnish and some microscopic pitting, the rear tote has some old repairs- see the photos for the whole story.
