Beautiful hand pieced / handsewn Texas Star / Star of Bethlehem Quilt Top From a recent estate sale, this beautiful star that was hand pieced from vintage cotton & feedsack fabrics was turned into a tablecloth or perhaps a baby crib spread...I'm not real sure. The star is hand pieced and hand sewn of small kite shapes bordered by hexagons. The edging is a pretty bright yellow that does show some fading in some areas. One section has been patched with several sections of yellow. Yellow gingham borders all of the quilt top. Looks like someone took the original quilt top and turned into a tablecloth ... perhaps for a wonderful country porch. It measures right at 70" x 70" round...not completely round in all areas...and the star is 64" from point to point. Very pretty star & a great project piece ~~ or use it as is! Fed Ex includes insurance up to $100.00 We pack very well but are not responsible once your item is dropped off for shipment. Payment is expected within 5 days. US payments: Paypal, check or m/o. Overseas: Paypal only. International bidders are always welcome. Most bidders are kind enough to make payment within stated time frame which is greatly appreciated.
