Offered for your bidding evaluation is this vintage Ideal hard plastic P-91 Toni doll wearing a formal ball gown in shades of gold. She is quite mesmerizing in her satin dress with fluffy net overlay! Her gown is further adorned with a bouquet of tiny velvet millinery flowers at the waist to match those worn in her hair. For added enchantment, t are also little star shaped sequins that dot the netting and t This doll dates to at least the 1950's, with Toni first being introduced in 1948. Measuring 15 1/2" tall, she is all hard plastic and jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Her body is in good, clean condition. Thankfully, the doll does NOT have the old, sour, hard plastic smell! She is fully marked P-91 IDEAL DOLL, etc., as photographed, on the back of her head and neck. Her original stringing is tight and will hold a pose nicely. Pretty blue sleep eyes are framed in full hair upper lashes as well as painted lower lashes. All her face painting is original and in very good condition, though her cheeks just retain a hint of pink blush. Her bright red lip paint is intact as is the dark gray shadowing over her eyes. Toni's fancy gown closes in back with a series of small hooks and eyes. (Please note in the last photo that t is a small chunk of the net missing on one of the tule layers near the hem in the back.
