Vintage Harmony H-51 Archtop Electric Jazz Guitar serial # 131 H 51 ! /watch?v=-bgPEjKGQAY /watch?v=EXAVD2mOx0E Harmony built some quality jazz guitars in the early 1950's and this is one of them. This one was built in 1952 which was a good year because my sweetheart was born the same year! This guitar has a beautiful tone as you can hear on the youtube attachments. The overall condition of this guitar is good for a 60 year old guitar. She has a few minor scratches and nicks as can be expected with age. There is a small repaired crack at jack input and a repaired crack on the lower rear bout as can be seen in the pictures I listed. Other than that she looks very good! The string height at the 12th fret is about 1/8th of an inch. The nut width is one and five eigths inches. The guitar has the original tuners and tailpiece. It also has the original Gibson P-13 pickup that had and still has a great quality tone. Volume and Tone controls are original and have original (nearly perfect condition) bakelite knobs! When I purchased this guitar the original logo decal was missing from the head stock and I have replaced it with the chrome Harmony logo which gives it a clean beautiful look. It has new Ernie Ball Earthwood Extra Light Gauge Strings ! To view this vintage jazz guitar and many other harmony models go to this web site.
