VINTAGE HARROWBY BONE CHINA TEA SET - 21 PIECES 6 Cups 6 Saucers 6 Tea Plates - approx - 15.5cm (6inches) 1 Milk Jug 1 Sugar Bowl 1 Sandwich/Cake Plate - Measures From Wing to Wing - approx 24 cm (9.5 inches) Beautiful little Tea Set in a Pale Pink Colour with Gilding and Rose Floral Pattern. Cups have White interior with a Rose Floral Pattern. Centre Circle of plates and saucers are also White with Rose/Rose Bud Floral Pattern. Back Stamped "Harrowby Bone China England". This is a very old tea set which has been in my family for many many years and is generally in good condition, no chips or cracks, as it has spent a lot of time in a display cabinet. Close up of sandwich plate - pic 4 (at 11.00 o'clock position) there are four very tiny marks which I think are gilt transfer. As Bone China Enthusiasts will appreciate, as this is genuine vintage/antique bone china, it was produced in a decade when old firing methods were used resulting in manufacturer's firing marks/minor imperfections/flaws/pattern transfer which reflects its history but does not detract from its beauty.
