NICE VINTAGE HASBRO AMERICAN TOY CO. #1740 DOLLY'S NURSE KIT! Wonderful late 1940's, early 1950's Hasbro Dolly's Nurse Kit No. 1740. Made by Hasbo with the American Toy logo in Pawtucket, R.I...as far as we can tell, it was never used and all items are in place save for a Nurse Cape if one was included...the hat and apron are there. Great vintage toy...paper box shows some shelf wear, scuffing and some tape has been added to hold it together through the years. Clasp opens and closes well on good hinges. Inside we have a display in compartments of all the necessities of keeping Dolly healthy...and some "medicine" in case she should fall ill. Although this is a fabulous display piece for any doll or toy collection, it is also a marvelous gift idea for the Nurse in your life with National Nurse Week being the first week of May. Measures in at 15 & 3/4" wide, 11 & 3/4" deep and stands 2 & 3/4" tall when laying flat with the lid closed.
