Signed Hattie Carnegie Vintage Horse Brooch / Pendant *** RARE and Offered at No Reserve! *** This auction is for a very beautiful and exceedingly rare vintage Hattie Carnegie piece that can be worn as either a pin or as a pendant. It measures approximately 4 1/4" long and 1 3/4" wide. The back is marked with an oval reading "Hattie (c) Carnegie". The back has a a stick-pin with a good, solid clasp and a bent hook so the piece can also be worn as a pendant on a necklace. The metal is gold-toned. The horse is covered in pearly white enamel with only some extremely minor fleabites to the enamel in the mane area. T are also little circles of green and pink poured enamel. The eye is missing, but was also probably poured enamel as well. The horse has two large mauve pearls- one circular and one tear shaped. This is a delightful piece and would make a lovely addition to any vintage costume jewelry collection. Please feel free to email with any questions or requests for further pictures. Good luck and happy bidding! *** A note to our international buyers... While we offer international shipping as a courtesy to our buyers, we will only ship internationally by way of safe, secure, and insured methods. The United States Postal Service has recently raised its postage rates and this is reflected in the shipping costs on our auctions. We are estimating the cost of international delivery at $25 for Priority Mail International with shipping insurance. Please take this estimate into account when you are considering your bids.
