Hello, is a wonderful item for you, I really like the wood on it. It is a hardwood that looks very similar in color to my teak table, however I am not an authority and could be oak or maple. The colors are quite true. I love the palm tree and the wooden waves. It has the 40s - 50s look to it, and would be a great addition to your room. T is a missing section behind the man figure. I do not know what it would have been. (part of background) Room at the base to carve your name in, if you wish..maybe a 300 game after it !!! Probably 3-4 pound weight. Small mark middle bottom , as shown. Questions welcome, thank you. Cont USA ONLY, lower 48. Bidding ends this holiday weekend, Saturday, so check your time zone please.
