Vintage Heals 1965 Op Art print'Cascade'Evelyn Redgrave cotton furnshing fabric. This iconic Artist fabric from the 1960's,designed for Heals in 1965,by the artist Evelyn Redgrave ,who was an in house designer for Heals .This design was also printed as a table top by Stead Alpin ,which was a great seller for the firm. 'Cascade' bold abstract curves ,a great example of the styles typical of Op Art movement. In colours of tan,mustard,muddy brown,shades of grey and butterscotch brown,against a white background. My many photographs reflect the correct colours. This wide length of cotton fabric,with a slight curved seam piece in the middle(seen in pic 3) measures length 36"inches(92 cms) x width 82 inches(210 cms). This textile cotton fabric could be used in an upholstery job,covering a chair,small jobs cushion cover,bag or used in original state as a great late 1960's Heals reference framed as a picture or wall hanging . In good condition.Please also refer to condition notes above!
