Double your traffic. Vintage 64" x 98" ecru linen tablecloth purchased by family member in 1950's, heavily decorated with Madeira embroidery work. Edges are scalloped & satin stitched in gray. Center of cloth outlined in 1" wide stepped rectangle of gray broderie anglaise cutwork, finished off at each end (see photo 2) with gray bridal basket of coral, pink, pale blue & yellow flowers with trailing gray foliage & vines ending in bouquet of smaller flowers & foliage just above scalloped edge. Photo 3 shows closeup of bridal basket portion, done in combination of pulled thread, broderie anglaise, padded satin, Richelieu & rondel stitching. Sides of broderie anglaise rectangle (photo 4) alternate bridal baskets similar to ones on ends with flowering variegated purple to pink flowers. Clusters of coral, pink, yellow & plae blue flowers spaced along length of sides, just above scalloped edge. Photo 5 shows closeup of basket & flowers along rectangle. Photo 6 closeup of flowers along edge of cloth. Corners embroidered with full bridal bouquet motif (photo 7). Embroidery work in wonderful condition with NO damage or missing threads. Cloth itself has some age yellowing & few very small spots of dirt... all of which probably would soak out with OxyClean or similar product. Will ship parcel post or priority mail.
