Up for auction is a vintage sterling link bracelet. Super nice piece, heavy and aged to a soft and mellow smooth silver. Made of well-fitted round top and wrought reverse curb links. The bracelet is over 1/4" wide (edge to edge) x about 1/8" thick (top to bottom) with a wearable length of 7.5" and has a nice heft...weighing over an ounce on a digital scale prior to packing. It's styling is fun and uncomplicated, kind of reminding me of a boy's ID bracelet from back when. The place w the name would be engraved is modified/shortened and on this bracelet serves as the clasp. It is a well working tongue-in lever and box housing, curved end to end and hallmarked/marked in worn lettering, still being somewhat readable is: XICO 5 UMP, I think. Easily combines with other sterling pieces...bangles and beads or readily wears alone. It was purchased second-hand from a favorite vendor over in Oakland that sells jewelry and vintage housewares. Please refer to photos for style, marking and condition. In excellent vintage condition as is, uncleaned -- appealing patina along with surface rubs which are consistent with use and enjoyment, no gross damages, to polish up a bit or not. I'd guess this piece easily 30 years old or better. It has a really nice feel...soft, worn and wonderful...and ready for wear again.
