This is a great collectable Heddon: an early "OO" 5 hook Dowagiac Minnow, in yellow body/red/black/green spot finish. This old warrior is a nice early example of a very tough Dowagiac model that came out in 1912, and was gone by the late 20s. Most of these have the "L-rigging" hook hardware; this one has the earliest cup hardware, which was only used from 1912-1914. This one has nice hardware, perfect glass eyes, and great hand painted gill marks. Some chipping and light hook swings. You should look so good at 98 years. This is a nice Heddon--Don't miss it~!
