British patent #6006 double winged lever corkscrew by James Heeley And Sons. One arm reads, A1 patent on both sides. The other side of the top reads Buss and Sons Manchester. This fully functional item has been found to be dated to April 23, 1888, () Unknown make of materials, with no apparent signs of rust or corrosion. Item is 7" in length and 11" when arms are fully extended.
The top piece with one side reading 'Buss and Sons...', the other reads 'James Heeley and Sons, 6006, Patent Double Lever' (see pix).
