I found this lovely peice at a local auction and know that it is very old but in Excellent condition. This auction is for a piece of 1900"s Vintage Heisey Glass in the Sunburst pattern. This is the Dome part of the Butter Dish. It is heavy and you can feel the cut glass decoration but there are no chips or nicks in this piece. With the handle, it measures about 5 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" across the base. It is marked with an H inside a Diamod on the inside of the dome under the handle.If you have broken the top of your Dome Butter Dish, here is a great way to fill that hole without breaking the bank.
