This is a hard jar for me to part with. She has been part of my collection since I found her 10 years ago at an estate sale. She is a beautiful jar and gets a lot of compliments. The asking price is exactly what I paid for her ten years ago. I really hope that somebody will enjoy her as much as I have. Helen is in good condition but does have some problems. The crier in the lid does not work. There is a line on the lid, behind her left elbow, as shown in photo #7. It is most likely a factory hairline that was painted and glazed over, it is not damage. There is a 1/8" paint chip off of the pink paint on her open mouth, as shown in photo #8. There is clear crazing but also some lines of lightly discolored crazing, as shown in photo #9. Overall, I think she looks beautiful for her age and displays very nicely. She measures approx. 11" tall.
