VINTAGE HUNTING KNIFE with SHEATH BY: HENLEY & CO. MANUFACTURED: SOLINGEN GERMANY ****DON'T MISS THIS ONE**** This is a great looking and differrnt style straight knife. It has a standard style blade at the bottom, but the top is different. The blade at the top is 3/16" thick with machined saw like teeth that run for 2-3/4 inches, these teeth are wicked sharp and t are 11 on one side and 12 on the other. These would work great to saw bone, wood or what ever you may run across while working or hunting. Saw has been used and the blade does show some very light scratching from what ever the knife had sawn. These scratches are hard to see in the photos because they are so faint. DESCRIPTION; MEASURES 9-1/4 INCHES OVERALL BLADE MEASUREMENT OF 5-1/8 INCHES. BLADE TANG STAMP: HENLEY & CO.,(over) GERMANY SIDE TWO TANG STAMP: STAINLESS (over) SOLINGEN Blade has never been sharpened, but does have faint scratching discussed above HANDLES: STAG - halfs with four brass pins. Guard: Brass Pommel: Alumium with brass threaded insert in end (see photos) Handles are in excellent condition - no chips or cracks. Knife will come in its original leather sheath that is in very good condition. The case is stamped with the Henley & Co. name along with Germany.
