This is an original German-made Merkur Solingen double-edged safety razor, produced for Hoffritz for Cutlery, New York. It belonged to my great uncle and was very well cared for. The gold plating is in superb condition, as is the base, but the red paint has worn off some of the dial numbers (see photo). It doesn't include blades but does come in its original zippered leather case, which is in amazing shape.Thanks for looking!
