Selling my almost-never-played Hohner Chromatic harmonica. I bought it new around 1980 mostly to impress my father-in- law who had Hohner's THE 64 CHROMATICA . Guess how that worked out. According to the Owners booklet it is unique for a whole host of reasons. Here's just a few: It has an airtight construction, it's made from superior materials, it's virtually indestructible, and it's molded with high-impact, Dupont glass-filled Delrin with a shaped mouthpiece and body that makes it easy to hold and play. Booklet goes on to say that the non-stick slide is made of Teflon which allows the plunger to shift in a fraction of a second quicker than other plungers etc etc There's more but, I think you get the idea: the harmonica is great. 2 small screws allow you to open her up and clean the cover plates. It measures 8 3/8 " including the slide plunger, has 16 holes, and 64 reeds. It's in the key of C, and weighs 11 oz. It's clean as a whistle and the case looks virtually new. Most importantly, the sound is rich, loud and clear. The reserve is low. This is a no-return, 'as-is' auction so please ask any questions you have before you bid. ( I'm sure the answer is somewhere in this booklet! ) Good luck bidding!!
