Unusual 1950's vintage novelty Cigarette case. This is known as a HOLD-a-PACK CIGARETTE CASE. The case is made of tin and has a button that when press, opens two flap lids at top for access to cigarettes. It was for holding a pack of non filtered cigarettes and measures 2 7/8" high x 2 1/4" wide. It maintains its original cardboard insert that reads in one side The Advertisement and instruction for Hold-a-Pack and on the other side it shows a simulated pack of Chesterfield Cigarettes. It is signed on its base HOLD-a-PAK and on the inside it is also signed HOLD-a-Pak, made in the USA. This cigarette case is in fine condition!!!
