SPECTACULAR PURPLE VELVET WROUGHT IRON BENCH!!! Very chic indeed! A terrific usable size. Very well-made and sturdy. Vintage, circa 1950s-1960s, Hollywood Regency / High Style / Mid-Century Modern / Parzinger Eames Era upholstered wrought iron bench. FABRIC/MATERIALS/DESCRIPTION: Fabulous purple (plum) velvet upholstery. Cushion is fixed in place and has piping around the upper outer edge. Base has nicely curving legs, and is made of gold painted square solid wrought iron (arms are rounded for comfort). Bench is nicely finished with arms to the sides, and solid iron decorative balls on the arms and undercarriage. Tassels are fabric and easily removed if so desired. SIZE: (overall) 31 1/2" wide; 18" deep; 20 1/2" tall; (seat only) 23 1/8" wide; 16 3/4" deep; 18" high. CONDITION: Excellent original condition. Velvet is excellent, with no tears or spots.
