Delicate and warmly formal, the Heather Rose Pattern on Homer Laughlin's china makes a gracious setting on a dinner table. I have only the 5 dinner plates in this auction, but have 5 matching large soup bowls listed in my store items. These are in the Eggshell Nautilus shape, made by Homer Laughlin from 1937 to the early 1960's .The eggshell background of the 9½" plates has bouquets of dusty pink roses with sprays of small purple flowers and pale green leaves along the rim and down the sloping sides of the plate. A central thin gold band and gold rim trim completes the look. These dishes in Heather Rose were made in 1942. (On the back 'E42' & 'N5', along with the logo and 'Eggshell NAUTILUS', is printed in green). If you are needing these for your set, you will pay $15 each at most wellknown specialty sites. T are no chips, cracks, etc. Very good condition. If it were not for slight normal wear to the centers of the plates, they are like new. Thank you for looking. They weigh 4 lb 7 oz without any packing.
