Vintage Homer Laughlin Red Fiesta Water Carafe

This auction is for this lovely vintage red orange Fiesta water carafe made by the Homer Laughlin Company These carafes were produced from 1935 -1946, the color red was discontinued in 1944. The carafe is in very nice condition, with no chips, the glaze is nice and shiny, t are a couple minor scratches / scuffs on the piece. T is also what looks to be a pin-point glaze pop / miss or fleabite on the handle. I have taken a couple of pictures which show this, the one pic has the stopper off in regular mode and the other one is a close-up pic, so it looks much larger than it actually is. The carafe measures approximately 10" high and about 7" in diameter including the handle. The piece has the incised mark on the bottom: Fiesta HLC USA. This piece would make a wonderful addition to any Fiesta collection. The boxed weight should be between 3-4 lbs from zipcode 60084, if you would like to get a shipping quote to your zipcode, you can email me or go to the shipping calulator on Ebay's home page site map. I did not want to put a shipping total due to the vast different ranges of shipping cost, depending on w it will be shipped. No sense paying more for shipping if you don't have to, and I would have to go with the highest shipping quote from my location. and that would not be fair to a buyer closer to my shipping zone. I will only charge exact shipping to your zipcode plus $1.00 to cover the cost of bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Insurance is optional but recommended on fragile items. If the winning bidder would like insurance please email me a request after auction's end, before I invoice you a total. If you have any questions please email me.
