~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ Lovely and RARE ~ this bolt is a vintage homespun fabric bolt from Europe that dates from the early 1900's ~ this fabric has a very rare and lovely black stripe! This is a linen and cotton mix fabric, called Fustian. The warp is a natural cotton and the weft is pure hemp ~ this fabric has a more open weave and is ideal for projects such as decorative pillows etc, however I don't recommend this fabric for upholstery as the weave is more open that I personally would like . It would be just fine for dining chairs or a small upholstery project, however I don't recommend it for slip covers or projects where the body and hand is important as this fabric doesn't have the same floppy hand that most do! ~*~ ~ This bolt is in as found, unwashed condition with some light storage dust and some pale marks in places that may not fully wash! They would be small and pale, however this fabric should only be purchased if it isn't vital to your project that the fabric be pristine! ~*~( condition reflected in the price) ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : I'm selling this bolt by the ONE YARD length ~ so each purchase is for a length that measures one yard long by 22.5 inches wide . Should you wish to purchase further continuous lengths, simply change the quantity button. EG: should you require a length that measures 3 yards long read more
