Reversible VINTAGE Metal Advertising Sign Sign states " HOTEL BATEMAN Lowville" on both sides! This New York hotel is on the National Historic Register. Research on the internet states that the hotel was built in 1869 to replace another hotel destroyed in a fire. It had been known as the Howell Hotel and Kellogg Hotel. It was at 7574 S.State Street in Lowville, New York. Which is stated to be the crossroads for the Erie Canal. Looks like it had been Bateman apartments and now condos I think. S ome scratches that only add to the character of the sign, plus what looks like one tiny bb hole. Has 4 premade holes for hanging on the edges and 2 in center for stability. Sign is Yellow & Black. Sign weighs over 1 lb. It is rectangular24 1/4 " long x 9 1/2" tall. Please email with any questions. Thank you.
