Up for auction is this great Howard Pierce vase with a giraffe and palm tree. The vase is shaped like a V and is green with an open center containing an ivory colored giraffe and palm tree. The vase is approximately 9 inches tall and 3 inches deep. The bottom of the vase shows "Howard Pierce Claremont Calif". I believe that this vase was likely produced in the 1950s. T are some tiny bumps along the edges of the vase that appear to have been t since its production (or are these flea bites?). The center edges of the vase are a tad lighter than the rest of the vase. On the side are 3 extremely, extremely tiny scratches that can't be seen unless really looking. I only saw these while standing outside in daylight and moving the vase specifically looking for any flaws. The scratches were only seen when holding the vase a certain way. When the vase was more than a foot away from me, I didn't see these at all. Other than that, this is a great piece! No other chips or cracks that I see. The vase needs to be cleaned but I'll leave that up to the buyer (it's not that bad except for some dirt inside the vase and around the giraffe). Again, the "flaws" that I see are extremely minor but I am just trying to explain everything. Thanks for looking at this and please feel free to ask any questions!
