This is a vintage working Howe Platform Scale, stamped Rutland, VT--patd Aug 20 1867 and Jan 15 1870. It is in good condition. Casting number=11065. It sells with (2) 500 lb weights, (2) 200 lb weights, and (1) 100 lb weight. Platform size is 45" x 32". Overall length=52" height+64" width=51". The scale weighs 596 lbs.
