This is an amazing turn of the century French statuedated 1906, and signed by A.J Scotte.it is impressively 29 inches tall and 14 inches around the base.which is beautiful swirl of black and white marble andhas a plaque on the front of the base saying la Mutualite by A.J Scotte..Her open book says "un pour tous" on page one..and" tous pour un" on page two,this piece is a stellar and a compliment to any homeA RARE FIND .....I found on the back a French seal saying made in France.....it is a solid piece and weigths about 45 pounds...
