I am helping my mother to liquidate her extensive collection of vintage original Hull Pottery and will be listing several pieces at a time until it is all gone. I love to combine shipping and if you are looking for a particular piece, just let me know. If she has it, I can arrange a special auction for you. A rare chance to obtain hard-to-find pieces to add to your collection at bargain prices, especially if you take advantage of combined shipping. I'm excited to offer these to you with low opening bids and NO RESERVE!!! This is a hard to find signed piece from Hull Pottery, an Orchid pattern No. 302 - 6" Vase. It was manufactured in the late '30's. This two handled vase measures approximately 6.5" tall, 4" wide across the widest part, and 3" across the base. The bottom has impressed markings "Hull, USA, 302 - 6"." T is a '64' or '69' written in pencil on the bottom, possibly identifying the artist who did the hand painting. It is in fantastic condition. T is no evidence of crazing anyw on the outside - a tiny amount on the very bottom inside if you look hard. The outside is very smooth and clean. Spots, dots, and pimples are virtually non-existent on this one - I did see a couple tiny dark pindots. The inside is quite clean, although t are what looks like pencil lines down inside the neck and the bottom is a little darker than the sides. T is some greyish coloring on the bottom. That's it! This is a super clean Hull piece. I'm being very picky - t are no chips, cracks or repairs on this piece. This matte finish Orchid Vase has nice coloring - a background of deep rose pink shading to soft blue. Two colorful yellow, red and pink orchid flowers with green leaves adorn the front and and one large one decorates the back. A lovely older Hull piece for your collection. 2003 Book Value on this piece was $150 - $180, I have no idea what it runs now. I have tried to describe this piece and any flaws or items of interest that I have detected in great detail, and have also provided several pictures. Please ask any questions before bidding to make sure you are happy with your purchase, as all sales are final unless I've made a big boo-boo, like shipping you the wrong item or making a gross error in the description. Thank you! Non-smoking home. Check out my other listings and save on combined shipping while adding to your collection. I only charge actual shipping - no padding. Please let me know when you are done shopping and I will send a combined invoice with shipping discount. Insurance is required on all breakable or high-value items to protect both of us. SORRY, NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. PLEASE BID ONLY IF YOU HAVE A U.S. ADDRESS TO SHIP TO. THANKS!
