I am helping my mother to liquidate her extensive collection of vintage original Hull Pottery and will be listing several pieces at a time until it is all gone. I'm excited to offer these to you with low opening bids and NO RESERVE!!! This is a lovely near perfect piece from Hull Pottery, an Orchid pattern No. 302 - 6" Vase. It was manufactured in the late '30's. This beautiful two handled vase measures approximately 6.5" tall, 4.25" wide, and 3" across the base. The bottom has impressed markings "HULL, USA, 302 - 6"." It is in minty mint condition. T is no crazing at all on the outside and some faint crazing on the inside bottom. T are very few of the usual spots, dots, marks and pimples - I saw a tiny darker pink dot on the left handle in front. The inside and bottom are quite clean, although t is a small amount of brownish residue at the very bottom. On the bottom, is some pencil writing and some greyish pencil-like smudges. That's it! I'm being very picky - t are no chips, cracks or repairs on this piece. This matte finish Orchid Vase has nice coloring - a background of rose pink shading to soft blue. Two colorful yellow, red and pink orchid flowers with green leaves adorn the front and one flower decorates the back. A superb older Hull piece for your collection. 1999 Book Value on this piece was $150 to $180, I have no idea what it runs now. I have tried to describe this piece and any flaws or items of interest that I have detected in great detail, and have also provided several pictures.
