I am helping my mother to liquidate her extensive collection of vintage original Hull Pottery and will be listing several pieces at a time until it is all gone. I love to combine shipping and if you are looking for a particular piece, just let me know. If she has it, I can arrange a special auction for you. A rare chance to obtain hard-to-find pieces to add to your collection at bargain prices, especially if you take advantage of combined shipping. I'm excited to offer these to you with low opening bids and NO RESERVE!!! This is a gorgeous signed piece from Hull Pottery, a Dogwood / Wild Rose pattern No. 510 - 10 1/2" Vase. It was manufactured in the mid '40's. This HUGE and heavy two handled vase measures approximately 10.5" tall, 8.75" wide across the widest part, and 6" deep across the top. The bottom has raised markings "HULL, USA, 510 - 10 1/2"." T is a '9' scratched into the bottom, probably identifying the person who did the hand painting. It is in wonderful condition. T is no crazing at all on this piece. It has virtually none of the normal Hull spots, dots, and pimples - I think I counted four tiny pimples on the whole thing. It is extremely smooth and clean. The inside walls are clean and pristine. The bottom has some glazed over bits of extra clay, which show some residual brownish marks from use. On the back side t is a tiny glaze miss on the rim and a tiny glazed over indent on the rim, that are barely visible in the photos. That's it! I'm being very picky - t are no chips, cracks or repairs on this piece. This matte finish Dogwood Pot has beautiful coloring - a background of solid peach highlighting a yellow and pink flower and spray of green leaves on the front and back, in an exceptionally crisp, pretty, and well-painted floral design. This is a beautiful dogwood design and the relief is especially good. A lovely large Hull piece for your collection. 2003 Book Value on this piece was $320 - $415, I have no idea what it runs now. I have tried to describe this piece and any flaws or items of interest that I have detected in great detail, and have also provided several pictures. Please ask any questions before bidding to make sure you are happy with your purchase, as all sales are final unless I've made a big boo-boo, like shipping you the wrong item or making a gross error in the description. Thank you! Non-smoking home. Check out my other listings and save on combined shipping while adding to your collection. I only charge actual shipping - no padding. Please let me know when you are done shopping and I will send a combined invoice with shipping discount. Insurance is required on all breakable or high-value items to protect both of us. SORRY, NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. PLEASE BID ONLY IF YOU HAVE A U.S. ADDRESS TO SHIP TO. THANKS!
