I am helping my mother to liquidate her extensive collection of vintage original Hull Pottery and will be listing several pieces at a time until it is all gone. I love to combine shipping and if you are looking for a particular piece, just let me know. If she has it, I can arrange a special auction for you. A rare chance to obtain hard-to-find pieces to add to your collection at bargain prices, especially if you take advantage of combined shipping. I'm excited to offer these to you with low opening bids and NO RESERVE!!!

This is a fabulous signed piece from Hull Pottery, an Iris / Narcissus pattern No. 404 - 8 1/2 " Vase. It was manufactured in the mid '40's. This gorgeous two handled vase measures approximately 8.5" tall, 6.5" wide across the widest part, and 3.75" across the base. The bottom has impressed markings "HULL, U.S.A., 404 - 8 1/2"."

T is no evidence of crazing at all on the outside of this piece - a tiny amount of very faint crazing near the inside bottom. T are a few of the normal Hull spots, dots, and pimples but it is pretty smooth and clean. The front has a small glaze pop at the bottom right of the green leaves and two tiny white marks w the glaze missed on the top rim right side. T is a small "wart" on the right handle. The back has a small rought spot and a few glaze misses in the flower. The inside walls and bottom are clean although the very bottom is a bit darker. I'm being very picky - t are no chips, cracks or repairs on this piece.

This matte finish Iris Vase has beautiful coloring - a background of rose pink shading directly to blue. Pink and yellow iris flowers with lovely red veining detail and green leaves adorn one side and a pink iris flower on the other in an especially pretty floral design. An elegant Hull piece for your collection. 2003 Book Value on this piece was $200 to $250, I have no idea what it runs now.

I have tried to describe this piece and any flaws or items of interest that I have detected in great detail, and have also provided several pictures. Please ask any questions before bidding to make sure you are happy with your purchase, as all sales are final unless I've made a big boo-boo, like shipping you the wrong item or making a gross error in the description. Thank you!
