Little Red Riding Hood Salt & Pepper Shaker Set This auction is for a vintage salt and pepper shaker set by Hull/Regal China. Circa 1940's.This figural set features Little Red Riding Hood of fairytale fame striking an absolutely adorable pose. Her hooded cape is vibrant red and her dress is decorated with the rare red accents. Her neck bow is finished in rich gilt. She has blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and pouty lips. Her hair is blonde with brunette accents and her basket is yellow with brown crisscross weave decoration. One shaker has two dispensing holes and the other has three. Both shakers are signed appropriately on the bottom with "PAT. DES. NO. 135889".This hard to find shaker set is in excellent collectible condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. T are some very minor flecks to the paint. Nothing at all obtrusive to the display. The colors remain vibrant and the glaze has retained its original shine.
