RARE old Hummel Apple Tree Boy Figurine. TMK 2. It is still marked Germany although by the time this trademark was commonly used it was West Germany, so this is an EARLY one! I'm no Hummel expert, but according to my research, this is the original style (by Arthur Moeller) which was changed over the years. It is marked (incised) 142/I (Capital i or roman numeral) and incised with a model number which I believe is 93. Stamped Full Bee TMK 2. Has some old tape residue on the bottom but that is all I can find wrong with this beauty. No chips, cracks, repairs or even crazing on this rare find! Measures 6 1/2" tall at the top of the branch.
