VINTAGE HUNTER W DOGS & PHEASANT BOOKENDSA friend is downsizing his "Man-Room" and no longer has any room for many of his many accumulated items. He recalls purchasing these bookends at local library yard sale at least 30 years ago. Up for auction is a set of chalk ware bookends depicting a hunter with a pheasant in his rifle sites as his dog points expectantly. Lots of action and color in these great old bookends. T is a number 1950 on the side, so this may be the date they were manufactured. These bookends were only on display for many years, getting very little use. However, the bookends show some wear with light chipping as chalk ware is known to get. Otherwise, they are in solid condition and ready to sit on another "man-room's" shelf!
