Welcome to my auction! I attended the Woodsland World Wide Carnival Glass Association Convention auctions this weekend. I purchased about 50 pieces of quality Carnival Glass. Please check my other listings for items you might like! This auction is for a Green Carnival Glass Butterdish. This is the "Octagon" pattern made by the Imperial Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is unmarked. You can reference this pattern in the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass, 9th Edition on page 180. Well, this was listed as Green, but it certainly has a lot of Teal in it. The base and handle appear to be all bright Teal. How pretty! This Butterdish is 5" tall x 7 1/2" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with beautiful iridescence and a shiny radium finish. I don't feel any inner rim roughness on the top or bottom. I found one little flake chip hidden in the pattern. (see closeup) No other chips, cracks or repairs. All pictures were taken outside in natural lighting. Check out my other items ! Payment is expected within 10 days, or item will be re-listed. Payment methods accepted: Paypal Money Order Personal Check (held 7 business days) I am happy to combine shipping on multiple wins. I ship on Tuesday & Friday. Thank you!
