Here is an 8inch Old Cottage Doll dressed as a Quaker doll. I have shown in the second picture this doll standing in front of the picture of her in the excellent book A Collectors Guide to Old Cottage Dolls by Terry and Christine Summers. (The book is not included) The authors of this book have listed the dolls according to the rarity guide and this is listed as "C" which is classed as Hard to Find.As so often happens with these dolls over time their heads warp a bit and tend to tilt to one side, and this doll has her head to one side.This can be rectified and in fact there is a chapter in the above mentioned book which shows how to repair the dolls.This doll has a lovely face and her clothing and leather shoes are in great condition and she still has her little leather covered book attached to her hand.I am selling most of my doll collections and will be listing lots of dolls and related items.Please ask any questionsPostage quoted is for 1st class signed for within the UK
