This 7-bowl set from Indiana Glass is referred to as "pink stain," but I actually feel the color is closer to fuschia. Stain, though, is an appropriate way to describe the color as it is not an all-over color but changes in density throughout each piece. The pattern is known as Wild Rose, but is sometimes referred to as Wild Rose with Leaves. The pattern first was introduced in 1940 and continued in production for decades. It came in numerous colors, but this set was the first I had ever encountered in one of the "stains." Though the interior of the pieces is a typical glass texture, the outside has a satin texture feel. The center bowl is 3 in. deep and 8 3/4 in. diameter measured across the top. The smaller bowls are 2 1/8 in. deep and 4 1/2 in. diameter measured across the top. All the bowls have four small, rounded toes. All seven pieces are in excellent condition and free from chips, nicks, and fleabites. The combined weight of the set is 5 lbs. Please note that I am selling, in a separate auction, a lovely double-handled serving plate that matches this set.
