Cool Vintage industrial Design, Architectural, Mid Century Modern trash /waste can. Art Deco, Machine Age! I think this would look a lot better in a darker color.. more industrial vintage chic. .. or stripped to let the metal show! But that's just a matter of opinion. If you have a large dog that likes to empty trash cans as our Golden Retriever.. this is for you. He's not knocking this over either, or getting his head in this one! Too funny.. Anyway, this has a fabulous swing top action with safety panel. Nicely embossed side panels with kinda a NYC Central Park feel to them. Interior hooks ensure trash bag stays in place. Takes 39 gal bags with ease or smaller.. 33-35gal. Good for recycling too. Easy lift top that's hinged, super easy to empty. Weighs a whopping 30lbs - Half the weight ( or maybe a third ) of your Golden..LOL! FYI I'm not singling out Golden Retrievers as trash hounds! But of all the dogs I've ever had the joy of living with, the Goldens have seemed to most intent on getting into the trash!!! They also like socks, shoes, etc. etc... they just like to bring things to people! Safe for kids too, as it came from an elementary school! Well built, never abused, no rust ..paint any color you want! One (1) spray can ought to do it:) Made by SOLAR STURGES Manufacturing CO.. pre1962! I have two of these..if interested but this auction is for one! IT is very COOL! Better than Simple Human any day of the week:) MEASUREMENTS 17" square and 35" H Please ask questions.
